40 Acres Near The District Listed for Sale in Chesterfield Valley
About 40 acres of undeveloped land adjacent to The District STL are on the market, according to a report Tuesday from ConstructForSTL, a St. Louis-based construction industry news outlet.
Key details — including the asking price, listing broker, and exact parcel boundaries — have not been disclosed. The District, formerly Taubman Outlets, has been transitioning into an entertainment hub with new food and beverage tenants in recent years.
The listing puts available land in play along a corridor already seeing major investment, including the $1 billion Wildhorse Village mixed-use project and the $2 billion Downtown Chesterfield redevelopment at the former mall site, where demolition began in October 2024. Citywide construction costs topped $290 million last year.
