A new car dealership is headed for Chesterfield Airport Road — on a parcel controlled by the same developer transforming the old Chesterfield Mall into a massive mixed-use district.

The Staenberg Group has submitted site plans, landscaping, lighting, and building designs for an automobile retail store on Lot C, a 1.1-acre tract south of Chesterfield Airport Road. The automaker or brand that will occupy the site has not been disclosed.

The city's Site Plan Committee will review the proposal Monday, April 27, at 6:30 p.m. in Room 101 at Chesterfield City Hall, 690 Chesterfield Parkway West. Planning Director Justin Wyse issued the meeting notice on April 22.

Lot C sits within TSG's Chesterfield Valley development corridor, where the firm is building Downtown Chesterfield — an 80-acre redevelopment replacing the demolished mall with 2,363 residential units, more than one million square feet of office space, 605,000 square feet of retail, a 300-room hotel, and a roughly 3.3-acre central park. TSG has valued the project at $2 billion. Utility work and site grading for the larger project began in late 2025.

Also on the agenda: The committee will review an amended sign package for the Forty West Office Building, a roughly 105,000-square-foot Class A office building on a 3.55-acre site north of North Outer Forty Road near Timberlake Manor Parkway. The package is listed as "Pending Review" on the city's active developments page.

The meeting is open to the public.
