Chesterfield's Planning Commission voted unanimously Monday, Oct. 26, to recommend rezoning 13.6 acres near Kehrs Mill Road for a new residential subdivision.

The rezoning, known as P.Z. 06-2026, would change the designation for the Pacland Crest site from "NU" Non-Urban District to "E-2AC" Estate District, according to the city's meeting results. The land sits west of Kehrs Mill Road and south of Pacland Place. Claymont Development, LLC is the developer.

Commissioner Wuennenberg made the motion to approve. Commissioner Marino seconded it. The vote passed 8-0 by roll call. Commissioner Midgley was the only absent member.

The commission also approved a minor subdivision plat for Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery by a voice vote of 8-0. That plat covers a 0.69-acre section of a 30-acre tract zoned Non-Urban with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP), located along White Road roughly half a mile south of Olive Boulevard. Commissioner Wuennenberg made that motion as well, with Commissioner Staniforth seconding.

The meeting adjourned at 7:18 p.m.
