Wildwood residents who used the Edward Jones office on New College Avenue won't need to find a new financial advisor across town. The office at 17221 New College Avenue is reopening under Patrick J. Chanod Jr., who took over after the previous advisor retired earlier in 2026.

The City of Wildwood is co-hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration on Wednesday, July 29. The ribbon cutting starts at 4:30 p.m., with the broader celebration running from 4 to 7 p.m. The event is open to residents, business owners, and visitors.

Attendees can meet Chanod and the Edward Jones team, tour the office, enjoy appetizers, and pick up a ticket for complimentary ice cream at a neighboring business.

The city said in a civic alert that it is proud to support businesses investing in the community and contributing to Wildwood's continued growth.

Edward Jones, founded in 1922 and headquartered on Manchester Road in St. Louis, has maintained the Wildwood office through the leadership transition rather than closing it. Chanod's office can be reached at (636) 458-6178.
