Children in the Chesterfield and Wildwood area can get a free lunch at select St. Louis County Library branches every weekday through August 14, no sign-up required.

Operation Food Search is serving meals from noon to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at six St. Louis County Library (SLCL) locations as part of the federal Summer Food Service Program. Any child or teen 18 and under can walk in and eat. Fridays feature pizza, sponsored by the St. Louis County Library Foundation.

The Guy and Judy Jaffe Family Branch in Chesterfield is closed for construction, so families who normally use that branch will need to travel to another location. The Clark Family Branch, at 1640 S. Lindbergh Blvd. in Frontenac, is a confirmed participating site and a convenient option for Chesterfield and Wildwood households. The branch also has a children's play area.

Other confirmed branches in the series include the Weber Road Branch and the Florissant Valley Branch. The full list of all six locations wasn't available at publication; call (314) 994-3300 to confirm your nearest branch.
