The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile will park at two free community events in Chesterfield and Ellisville on Oct. 17 and Oct. 22, First Alert 4 reported.

The 27-foot hot dog on wheels arrives first at the Chesterfield Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Chesterfield Amphitheater, 631 Veterans Place Drive. The festival runs from 1 to 6 p.m. and admission is free. Activities include live music from Box of Chocolates and Russo & Co., miniature pony rides, a petting zoo, carnival rides, pumpkin painting, balloon twisters, hayrides and festival food, according to a St. Louis-area fall events guide.

The Wienermobile then heads to Ellisville's "Hot Dog It's Chili" event on Thursday, Oct. 22, at Bluebird Park, 225 Kiefer Creek Road. That event runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and features live music from The Woo Daddies, food and drink vendors, hayride shuttles and children's entertainment. Kids are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and bring a bag to collect treats.

Both events are free and open to the public.
