Wednesday, July 15, is the deadline to apply for Rockwood School District's inaugural Community Connectors program, a nine-month experience giving 25 to 30 parents and community members an inside look at how St. Louis County's largest district runs.

The class meets from September through May in a mix of daytime and evening sessions. Participants will tour facilities, observe how funding decisions are made, and learn how student programs take shape.

Who can apply: Any adult 18 or older who lives or works within the Rockwood attendance area. Current full-time district employees and students are not eligible. Applications are available at rsdmo.org/get-involved/rockwood-community-connectors.

Graduates join an official alumni network for ongoing engagement with the district.

Local businesses can sponsor the inaugural class for $1,000, which includes visibility through district swag, web, print, and storytelling channels all school year. The sponsorship deadline is August 1; contact [email protected].
