Midwest Maifest Returns to St. Charles May 9 With Craft Tastings and Live Entertainment
Craft beer fans and families looking for a spring afternoon out can mark May 9 on the calendar — Midwest Maifest returns to the New Town Amphitheater in St. Charles for its ninth year.
Craft beer fans and families looking for a spring afternoon out can mark May 9 on the calendar — Midwest Maifest returns to the New Town Amphitheater in St. Charles for its ninth year.
The one-day German spring festival runs from 2 to 6 p.m. and features tastings from more than a dozen breweries, wineries and distilleries, along with food vendors, artisan booths and live German entertainment. Confirmed beverage vendors include KC Bier Co., Rockwell Beer, Good News Brewing, J. Rieger & Co., Noboleis Vineyards, St. James Winery, Ozark Viking Meadery and Red Ox Distillery, among others.
Wrist tickets for tastings are available online at midwestmaifest.org and at the gate — check the site for current pricing. Proceeds benefit the St. Charles–Ludwigsburg Sister Cities program, a nonprofit that has facilitated exchanges between St. Charles and Ludwigsburg, Germany for more than 30 years.
